There are five Danish-values questions and at least four must be correct. Study the principle and its application
For each values theme, first explain the principle in plain language. Then consider how it operates in Danish law and public life. Read every question carefully: words such as “may”, “must”, “according to law” or “can be punished” can change what the item is asking.
Use previous official papers as examples, not a prediction bank
Past papers show how this part of the exam can be framed. Use them to learn the level of precision expected, then verify any time-sensitive legal or factual point in current official material. Do not assume an old answer will remain appropriate forever.
Make 5/5 your practice goal
The official minimum is 4/5, but repeatedly scoring only 3/5 or 4/5 leaves little margin for error. Citizenship Test Hub therefore reports the values-section result separately on full Danish mock exams and recommends focused revision when that section is weak.
Practise the wording as well as the principle
The values section also requires careful Danish reading. Build familiarity with wording about rights, duties, legality, public authorities and equal treatment. When you miss a question, decide whether you misunderstood the underlying principle or the Danish wording. That distinction tells you whether the next study step should be subject revision or language-focused practice.
Review the reason for every wrong answer
Do not stop at learning which option was correct. Write one sentence explaining the rule or value behind it and one sentence explaining why your chosen option was wrong. This small habit makes it easier to handle a differently worded scenario on the real test instead of depending on recognition of a familiar question.
