Why the directory is selective

Not every country uses the same kind of citizenship test.

Some countries require a written civics examination. Others use an interview, integration course, language assessment or a combination of requirements. A few countries do not have a single nationwide written citizenship test at all.

For that reason, a country page should answer a basic question before offering a quiz: what is the actual official requirement? If the answer is “there is no national written test,” the useful page is an accurate guide explaining that status—not an invented question bank.

Written citizenship exam

We can build a practice engine around the published format and syllabus.

Residence/integration exam

We keep it separate from citizenship where the legal procedure is different.

Interview or oral assessment

Preparation should focus on the real assessment rather than forcing a multiple-choice format.

No national written test

We publish an informational country guide instead of a fake test.

How a country becomes “Live”

A country moves from Planned or Coming soon to Live after we have enough reliable information to explain the relevant exam and enough preparation material to make the section useful. The review includes the responsible authority, current exam version, format, pass requirement, language, syllabus, source availability and the distinction between official and independently written questions.

Why stable country URLs matter

Country pages use permanent URLs such as /france/ rather than creating a new page for every calendar year. When an exam changes, the public URL stays stable while the database records the new exam version. This makes bookmarks, search results and external links more reliable.

Native language plus English

Where useful, a country’s primary preparation content is published in the language most relevant to the exam, with an English alternate to help international users understand the structure. Search engines receive canonical and hreflang signals so the language versions are related without being treated as accidental duplicates.

What to do if your country is not live yet

Use the official immigration or citizenship authority for current requirements. You can also check our Test Updates page to see the roadmap status. A Planned label means we intend to research the country; it does not mean the current information has already been verified for public preparation.

Is your country missing?

Tell us which citizenship, civic or integration test you want researched next. A request does not make a country live automatically; we still verify the real official requirement before publishing a test.
