Citizenship and civic tests you can prepare for

We publish a country only when the exam structure, source material and preparation experience are useful enough to stand on their own.

Start with the real exam

Citizenship tests are not the same in every country.

A “citizenship test” can mean a written civics exam, an integration test, an interview, a language-and-society assessment or a requirement connected to long-term residence. Some countries publish official question banks; others publish only a syllabus; some have no single national written citizenship test at all.

That is why Citizenship Test Hub is organised by country, exam version and route. We do not force every country into the same 20-question template just because that is convenient for a quiz website.

Learn from sources

Use government material, official guides and published question lists where available.

Practise deliberately

Use explanations to understand mistakes instead of memorising answer letters.

Simulate the real test

Take a timed mock exam when your knowledge is stable.

Two preparation modes

Learn first. Then test yourself under pressure.

Practice mode and mock-exam mode solve different problems. Using both gives you a clearer preparation loop.

Practice mode

Understand every mistake

Answer a question and see the explanation immediately. Use this mode while learning the syllabus, reviewing official material and fixing weak concepts.

  • Immediate feedback
  • Clear explanations
  • Source links where available
  • Good for early and targeted revision
Mock exam

Build recall and pacing

Complete a full test under the configured time limit, with answers hidden until the end. Use the result to identify which topics still need work.

  • Timed attempt
  • No immediate answer reveal
  • Final score and topic analysis
  • Review incorrect answers afterward
Built around the learner

Useful tools before, during and after every practice session

You should not need an account, spreadsheet or separate note-taking system just to understand where you are improving. These tools keep the preparation loop simple while leaving you in control of your data.

Our accuracy approach

We show what is official and what is practice.

Official published

A prompt or fact that is available from the responsible authority and linked to its source.

Original practice

An independent question created to teach an official topic or skill. It is not presented as a leaked or guaranteed exam question.

Trust through transparency

Useful preparation should make its sources visible.

Citizenship and immigration information can change. Our country pages show verification dates, source links and separate exam versions so an update can be made without breaking the permanent URL users already trust.

If an official source does not publish a detail, we should not quietly invent it. When rules are uncertain or transitional, the content should say so.

Expanding carefully

More country sections are on the roadmap

Coming soon means research is active. Planned means the country is on our roadmap but is not yet ready for a public test.

Why not launch everything at once?

Thin pages with copied or uncertain information are not useful. We research each country, verify the actual exam and then build the preparation section around that country’s real rules.

Common questions

What to know before you start

These answers apply to the platform generally. Country pages contain the exact exam information for each live section.

Is Citizenship Test Hub an official government website?
No. Citizenship Test Hub is an independent preparation platform. Important exam information is linked to official government or public-authority sources whenever possible.
Are the practice tests free?
Yes. The core practice experience is free, ad-free and does not require a user account.
Are all practice questions official?
No. The platform distinguishes officially published material from original practice questions so users can see where a question came from.
Which countries are available?
France and Denmark are currently live. Additional country sections are researched and released gradually when the source review and preparation content are ready.
Can a practice score guarantee that I will pass?
No. Practice scores and readiness indicators are study tools only and cannot guarantee an official exam result.
